A Different Type of Electricity to Weymouth
All-purpose reporter gets things going on the island
By Captain Chode / The Atlantic Insider

After finally getting electricity to the island of Weymouth, a whole new portal has been opened up for the people that have seen 4 of 5 EHCC Championships. Finally the grizzly island inhabitants will get a chance to communicate with the rest of the world, starting with the newspaper, The Atlantic Islander. Captain Chode will be the editor, typer, writer, statistician, intern and analyst for the Sports Department. He's lived on the island for all 45 years of his life and is looking forward to opening up the eyes of the fantasy sports world with his beloved Weymouth Shaddupu being the center of his universe. In a self conducted interview with himself CC had some very interesting things to say. Here is how the interview went:

CC: Why do you consider the Weymouth Shaddupu the "center of your universe?"

CC: Well it's what I live for. I mean this team, right from their inaugural season back in '01, has just been dominating. Before we got this team there was only one thing to live for....fishing. But with this team coming to the island it just gave the whole island a kick in the ass and we realized that there is more to life than life and it's called the Weymouth Shaddupu.

CC: Yukon Cornelius, the GM of the Weymouth Shaddupu, is a fellow islander, a man you have known for many moons. What kind of man is he away from Brotherhood Park?

CC: You're right CC, I've known him since we were little tikes walking the beach at zero dark thirty looking for beer bottles left by our parents after partying all night. Quick story if I may--I remember when we were about 9 or 10 when we were cashing in our bottles at the local store he said to me something I'll never forget. He said, "Chode (I wasn't a Captain at the time) I'm going to save every single penny from these bottles and I'm going to bring something great to Weymouth." Well many years later we have a championship baseball team playing right here in Weymouth. That's the kind of man he is. Whatever he says he's gonna do he does whether it's for the baseball team, the island or in life. He's a winner in everything I've ever seen him do including hunting great whites off the coast, playing intramural sports, eating contests or hunting monsters in never before seen areas of the world...whatever it is he's gonna win. By the way you should see Yukon eat. WOW!

CC: Last question from me: What do you think this electricity thing will do for your team and the island?

CC: Good question CC and I think I have a highlight answer for that. With electricity, we, as an island and a team, will have many more resources that we've never had before. I mean, think about it. We won 4 of 5 championships w/ no electricity. Just imagine what is about to come with all the new means of scouting and communicating and talent evaluating and television and traveling. It's going to make us a better island and a better team. We are very confident of that.

Well I thank you for your time spent with yourself. I look forward to reading what I write in later issues of the Atlantic Islander. This is Captain Chode signing off saying "It only takes one."
